Step 1 Analysis and planning

We start by analysing the project requirements and the scope of the project so that we can give a realistic estimate of the task at hand and also identify any potential roadblocks. We try to understand the answers to questions such as Is the app testing confined to only the front-end? Is the app native or mobile-web or hybrid? Are all features functional?

Step 2 Identifying the Type of Testing

In this step, we decide on the kind of testing that is required for the mobile app - compatibility, functionality, security, performance or more.
Next, we decide on the target devices to use and include based on factors such as What devices will the applications support?
What are the most popular models for the target audience Selecting devices with multiple screen sizes Whether physical devices or emulators will be used

Step 3 Designing test cases

In this step, a test case document is prepared for each and every feature and functionality. Test cases and test suites are drafted.

Step 4 Manual and automated testing

The tests and scripts identified in the previous step are now run on basic functions to ensure that everything works as planned.

Step 5 Usability and Beta Testing

In this step, we check how user-friendly the mobile application is and does it provide a satisfactory user experience? Here different tests such as compatibility testing, UI testing, Interface testing, external factors testing and accessibility testing is done.

Step 6 Performance and functional testing

In this, the app is tested on various networks from 2G to 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi and is checked for factors such as battery consumption, responsiveness and stability.
We also do functional testing here for things such as installation, upgrades, signup and login and offline and online services.

Step 7 Security and Compliance Testing

Today, data and information security are the most important aspects for any app user. Therefore, in this stage we ensure that the app is safe from malicious attacks by validating SQL injections, session hijacking, SSL and packet sniffing.

Step 8 Analysing test results

In this step, we analyse the results and give you a final report which tells you whether the mobile application is fit for use and meets the acceptance criteria.
